Worker injured in partial collapse of Port Hope house; OPP investigating

PORT HOPE, Ont. – Provincial police say a man is in a Toronto-area trauma centre after an industrial accident in Port Hope, Ont.

OPP say the accident occurred Tuesday afternoon as construction workers were repairing a home.

Investigators say a man suffered a serious injury when part of the building collapsed.

They say the injured worker was taken to hospital by air ambulance. OPP say the cause of the collapse is under investigation.
